The new RMV Reminder Service
 
The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles recently discontinued the practice of notifying drivers when their driver's license is about to expire.  The RMV has created a new free reminder service.  Because driver's licenses are valid for five years, it is going to be difficult to remember when it is time to renew them.
 
On your computer, go to  http://www.mass.gov/rmv/.  On the RMV's home page, under "Online Transactions - Express Lane" click on "RMV Reminder Service".  After entering your driver's license number, your date of birth and your zip code, You will be sent to another web site sponsored by Arbella Insurance where you can register for a reminder by either e-mail, phone or text message.  There is no cost for this service.

 

 

 

   

REMEMBRANCE FUND


You now have an opportunity to remember, honor or memorialize fellow Explorers through our Remembrance Fund.. Barbara Dee  has offered to coordinate this endeavor.

You may donate as little as $5 and have a personalized card sent to any Explorer in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or get-well wish. We will also send a memorial card in memory of anyone who has passed away. Just send a check, made out to Explorers LLI, to:

The Explorers will benefit from your contribution, and your friends will be listed in the next Compass issue with both donor and recipient’s name.
